Who are the EDT?
We’re an independent registered charity, established in 1984, running schemes to inspire and motivate young people to choose a career in science, engineering and technology(SET).
Our Mission
To encourage young people to fulfil their potential through careers in science, engineering and technology.
Where are we?
We run schemes nationwide and annually involve over 5000 students across the UK - our regional contacts can be found on the contact us page
Our schemes
We run 4 main schemes nationwide; Go4SET, Engineering Education Scheme (England), Headstart and The Year in Industry. Our schemes target 12-21 year olds and aim to provide a real life exposure to industry, business and higher education. We want to help students make informed choices at key stages in their education.
