Please support our Vision

EDT is an educational charity on a mission to connect young people and industry with inspiring STEM futures.

Our vision is a society where all young people can develop the skills, knowledge and experience they need to use STEM as a powerful tool for taking control of their futures and changing the world around them.

                                                   THANK YOU SO MUCH

“[This experience] gave me the courage in my convictions that I was both interested in and capable of studying and succeeding in engineering. It highlighted to me some areas I would have to work on before applying to and attending university, but also showed me that I was much more capable than I had given myself credit for.”

-Anna went on to study Mechanical Engineering at university

HERE ARE THE WAYS YOU CAN HELP TO SUPPORT THE WORK WE ARE DOING

“University always seemed so intimidating to me as none of my parents have been able to guide me through it as they have never graduated themselves.  However, this virtual course has laid out my options in a way that didn’t overwhelm me, but rather made me confident in applying for a subject that piques my interest.  I truly am grateful that I have experienced such an opportunity that has inspired me to pursue my love for coding and engineering.”

GIFT A PLACE

All young people deserve the chance for an inspiring STEM future.

A key part of EDT’s mission is to help disadvantaged and under-represented young people build STEM and employability skills. The impact of COVID-19 has made this work more important than ever: disadvantaged pupils have lost around 34% of their learning during school closures, and the learning gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers has increased by 46%. Without our help, young people like Suweyda are in danger of losing out on the bright futures they deserve.
