To all our Alumni,

You know from your own experience what EDT can do in helping young people make informed career and education choices. Giving the best and most appropriate advice and support is as important as it has ever been. Addressing the the needs of young people, employers, sponsors and the academic world is key to our continued work.

A well informed and diverse board of trustees is an important part of how we function and we are looking for two members of our alumni community to join us in ensuring we are addressing the needs of our wider community. Your experience could help us in ensuring we are getting it right.

Becoming a trustee of a charity carries responsibilities. But the reward of knowing you are helping the next generation of STEM professionals is more than enough to counter those responsibilities.

If you want to get involved and want to put something back into EDT please don't hesitate. Contact the Chair Nick Buckland by email at for more information or to start a conversation about what’s involved.

We want a diverse and inclusive board of trustees, it’s your life experiences that matter and will contribute to helping us develop our strategy so that it is fit for now and the future.
