Discipline

Pre-university or undergraduate planning to study/currently studying for a degree related to Cyber Security, data or IT.

 

Activities and Responsibilities

Your role will give you exposure to collaborate with various teams, such as Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Security Architecture, Cyber Security Operations and Project Delivery, you will learn to implement robust Cyber Security measures to protect the organisation's digital assets and infrastructure. If you are more interested in data, you will gain exposure to our new data, digital and communications ecosystem. The skillsdeveloped will include energy network understanding,proficiency in a range of programming languages and the ability toutilise multiple algorithm methodologies in a real industry setting.

 

Examples of activities you may be involved in;

  • Gain an understanding of Distribution Network Design and assets. 
  • Recertification work
  • CyberArk projects
  • Daily/weekly reporting
  • Working with Real Time Systems teams

 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

  • MS Office - In particular Teams, Excel & Powerpoint
  • CyberArk
  • SailPoint

 

Interpersonal Skills

  • MS Office
  • Analytical skills e.g. spreadsheets
  • Good standard of written English

  • Basic awareness or experience of business practices
