The role of trainee risk analyst sits within the Onshore Assurance and Risk Team. You will support the Assurance and Risk Manager to embed risk management processes across the business. You will provide

support to the wider business on assessing, managing, and reporting on business risks. If you’re detail-oriented,

analytical, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this role might be a great fit for you.

 

Discipline

 

Graduate or university student with studying finance/accounting, risk management, business or economics. Risk Management degree preferred.

 

Activities and Responsibilities

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

 

  • Embedding risk management principles.
  • Supporting the implementation of risk methodology.
  • Supporting the coordination of business risk register review.
  • Tracking and reporting on actions associated to risks.
  • Supporting the coordination of risk reporting at an Executive level including use of reporting software.
  • Supporting facilitation of risk workshops to identify new and emerging risks

 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

 

  • Understanding of risk management principles.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and competing priorities, whilst maintaining
  • accuracy of work.
  • Robust working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems including SharePoint and other Microsoft
  • applications.
  • Passionate about the renewables industry

 

Interpersonal Skills

 

  • Ability to tackle complex problems, seek out challenges, and have a passion for risk management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across business areas.
  • Tenacity and determination to succeed.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex information effectively
