In this role, you will be required to support the Onshore Centre of Excellence team as a trainee applications analyst. 
 
Discipline
 
Pre-university or undergraduate planning to study/currently studying for a degree related to IT, computer science or similar. This role would also be suitable for a graduate who has completed a degree in a relevant subject. 
 
Activities and Responsibilities
 
  • Opportunity to gain experience in a professional office environment
  • Opportunity to present your ideas to your manager and make a difference
  • Assist with Application analysis
  • Assist in solution/Application deployment projects
  • Tracking Application obsolescence 
 
Technical Skills/Knowledge
 
  • Adapt quickly to change in a fast-moving environment
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Experience of working with MS Office applications (especially Excel)
  • Possible experience with Power BI, Power Apps and / or MicroStrategy and or SQL databases
  • Good analytical skills
 
Interpersonal Skills
 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team orientated attitude and a conscientious and methodical approach to work
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Self-motivated to complete given tasks on time
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
