As a Year in Industry student, you’ll be supporting the Data and Automation team throughout your placement by supporting power app development and business process automation using power automate.

 

Discipline

 

Pre-university or undergraduate planning to study/currently studying for a degree related to Information technology, Data science, Cloud, Artificial intelligence, machine learning or graduate who has obtained the relevant degree.

 

 

Activities and Responsibilities

 

Key responsibilities for this role are power app development and business process automation using power automate.

 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

 

  • Software development experience
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams at the same time.
  • High literacy and numeracy skills, capable of working effectively in a data rich environment. Capability to analyse data and translate this into design.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft power app platform and power automation
  • Experience or understanding of Microsoft Power BI
  • An understanding of workflow automation basics
  • Experience working with MS Office including excel, PowerPoint and word, as well as PowerBi.
  • Desirable to have had exposure to other automation / RPA tools such as Blueprism, UIPath.
