As HR Content Editor, you’ll be at the heart of this exciting journey, supporting all employees across the business by putting all the key HR information they need at their fingertips on a day-to-day basis.

 

Through continued understanding of users and their needs, via data insights & direct feedback, you will continue to evolve and enhance their experience, always keeping the customer at the heart.

 

This role would be well suited to an undergraduate or graduate with a degree related to HR, Business, Marketing or Communications, putting you at the heart of HR operations, and providing you with a great insight into business practises in a busy and varied HR function.

Discipline

Graduate or undergraduate planning to study/currently studying for a degree related to business, communications, marketing, journalism / media, linguistics or psychology. If a degree combines / encompasses an element of HR management it would be a bonus.

 

Activities and Responsibilities

  • Reviewing / auditing existing content and proposing improvements from a content and/or usability point of view
  • Writing, editing and proof-reading content in line with audience requirements, online content guidelines and search optimisation guidelines
  • Publishing / updating content on the HR Portal via our Content Management System (CMS) in line with style guides and templates
  • Reviewing and analysing site data and user feedback on a regular basis to ensure optimum performance and identify improvement opportunities

 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

  • Good standard of written English
  • Creative thinker with a broad range of ideas for presenting content in new and interesting ways.
  • MS Office - in particular Teams, Word, Excel & Powerpoint
  • Basic analytical skills e.g. spreadsheets
  • Experience of using a content management system (CMS) to manage digital content would be an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of HTML would be an advantage
  • Experience of design packages, e.g. Adobe or similar, would be an advantage
  • Basic awareness or experience of business practices

 

Interpersonal Skills

  • Self-motivated and confident in working on own initiative
  • Good organisational skills – ability to plan own workload and work autonomously
  • Strong writing, proof-reading and editing skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn & driven to get the job done
  • Good listener & proactive problem solver
  • Good communication / collaboration skills
