Activities and Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering administration and support services to assist our Social Projects and Sector Education Team deliver their social inclusion and employability strategy. Responsible for the setup, organisation & delivery of our social inclusion programmes, Breaking Barriers, in partnership with Enable Scotland and Strathclyde University and Barnardo’s Works, in partnership with the charity Barnardo. In addition, provide support across the team for volunteering projects, employability programmes and STEM outreach, supporting the whole team to delivery on their annual plan.

 

  • Planning, coordinating, and delivering the Breaking Barriers, Barnardo’s and Enable Works Social Programmes
  • Creating content for the team’s social media channel, by posting updates on activities, events, and Programmes
  • Organising and attending career events
  • Attending internal and external meetings, to represent the business
  • Creating presentations for internal and external purpose
  • Supporting external STEM events
  • Supporting external staff volunteering activities
  • Involvement in various pre-employment Programmes, direction from Programme Coordinator

 

Experience

Ideally the person would have had a part time job previously to demonstrate business practices and awareness
