EDT Named Best Experiential STEM Education Charity 2026

EDT is proud to have been named Best Experiential STEM Education Charity 2026 – UK at the Corporate Vision Education and Training Awards 2026.

The award recognises EDT’s commitment to inspiring young people through meaningful, hands-on experiences that bring STEM subjects and careers to life.

For more than 40 years, EDT has worked with schools, employers and industry partners to connect young people with opportunities that build confidence, develop skills and open their eyes to the possibilities of STEM. From immersive workshops and industry experiences to work placements and career pathways, our programmes help young people understand where STEM can take them.

This recognition reflects the impact of our partnerships with employers and educators across the UK, and the dedication of everyone involved in delivering experiences that can shape young people’s futures.

Julie Feest OBE, CEO at EDT and Industrial Cadets, said, "We’re delighted to receive this award, which recognises the power of experiential learning to inspire the next generation. Every young person should have the opportunity to discover their potential and see themselves in a STEM career, and we’re proud to work alongside our partners to make those opportunities possible."

The Corporate Vision Education and Training Awards celebrate organisations making a positive contribution to education and training across the UK and beyond.

We’d like to thank our partners, funders, educators, volunteers and, most importantly, the young people who continue to make our work so rewarding.
