What is it all about?

During five days at the University of Sheffield you will carry out exciting, interesting and challenging activities with like-minded people. This course will develop your teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills, which are integral to your future success. Engineering is the development of creative problem solving - come along and see if it's for you. During the course you will sample a wide variety of engineering subject areas through laboratory classes and taster lectures. All these sessions will help inform your future degree choice. 

What will I be doing?

You will be based in the Diamond building using state-of-the-art, practical laboratories and equipment to learn about programming robots, how to test electricity, mixing chemicals, bioengineering and much more. To see the video from one of our previous EDT summer schools, please click here
