Support us

With your help, we've supported thousands of young people in exploring the world of STE(A)M and in developing the personal, vocational and academic skills to make confident and knowledgeable decisions about their further study and future careers.
We are a registered charity bringing young people, education and STE(A)M industries together in realising the potential of the 4th industrial revolution.

We rely on donations and grants to innovate and develop our schemes and give more young people the opportunity to participate across the UK.

We have a number of ongoing initiatives that enable students to experience the world of STE(A)M, and our mission is to provide access to all students, no matter what their background.  Partnerships with key organisations within the STEM field are key to support young people. through bursaries. Much of the funding that we receive helps to support EDT’s programmes and Industrial Cadets accreditation. These events enable students to carry out STE(A)M related projects and courses, as well as meeting inspiring professionals within industry.

More ways to help

We rely on the generosity of volunteers, who provide their time, support and knowledge to help students, teachers and company managers gain the most from the EDT continuum.

There are 3 EDT schemes which call for Volunteer Mentors; Go4SET, Engineering Education Scheme (EES) and The Year in Industry (YINI).

We are also always looking for project assessors for FunSTEM, EES and Go4SET, and event ambassadors for First Edition and STEM Family Challenge.
