Routes into STEM
The virtual Routes into STEM course allows students aged 13+ to recognise the variety of opportunities available to them after taking their GCSEs, it will provide them access to key information on different pathways; college, university and STEM career. Diverse live interactive sessions will take place during half term holidays allowing students to listen and ask questions to a variety of STEM professionals and student ambassadors.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Bronze Industrial Cadets award and be in a position to make a more informed decision about their future. The course can be completed around other commitments and studies to suits individual circumstances. The course is open to all students aged 13+ and it is suitable for all academic abilities. All that is required is a genuine interest in STEM subjects and inquisitiveness about what the future can hold for them.
When does it run: 5th - 21st February 2021 (FULLY BOOKED)
21st May - 6th June 2021
Duration: 20 hours to be completed over 2 weeks inclusive of half term
Cost: £60 towards the cost of administration and the Industrial Cadets Bronze award. Bursary places are available.
