EDT have partnered with Leonardo, the global technology company on a research paper released by Emsi, the job market experts.

 

In the research, it was demonstrated that of the major STEM skills categories which which jobs were posted in 2017, 87% were IT related with Engineering and Manufacturing jobs the only other major contributor to these new jobs at 11%.

As a significant player in the market for UK technology expertise, Leonardo is keen that people understand how important a good technology education is for all young people. The present emphasis on broadening tech education is justified by these statistics, which show just how vital it will continue to be for future UK growth.
