What You’ll Do
•Complete clear software Programs with the aid of simple picture steps.
•Continually develop the operator interface improve use ability.
•Ensure requisitioner specification is met.
•Monitor the marketplace to ensure cost effective solutions are being used.
•Support the improvement of assembly lines through line balance changes.
Safety & Environment:
•Ensure equipment is electronically & software designed in accordance with all relevant machine conformity standards.
•Identify and escalate any activity that has potential to cause harm or damage.
•Ensure contractors are utilised in accordance with DMUK procedures.
•Ensure effective management & control of designated contractors whilst on DMUK site.
•Ensure company is aware of plans through continuous delivery of appropriate communications at all levels across the business .
•Contribute to your own development through training to maintain a high level of knowledge of software packages.
•Develop others in the use of image sensors and basic Proface software knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
•Electrical Engineering based degree.
•Awareness of electrical, plc & HMI design
•Programming ability using Proface, Allen Bradle, Mitsubushi
•Knowledge of different types of sensors and cameras
•High level of written/numerical / analytical ability
•High level of competency with spreadsheet & data management systems
•Knowledge of PLC/PC networks including: switches, network addressing & servers
•Experience using connectivity platforms such as Kepware
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
•Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
•Articulate with the ability to communicate at all levels from Production Associate to Managing Director
