Knowledge and experience (will be developed in the job role if not held)

 Development of electronics for sonar and underwater systems

 Digital Electronics

 FPGA development

 Analogue Electronics

 Circuit design

 Testing of electronics

 Integration of electronics with sonar systems

 Experimentation, test and evaluation of sonar devices Contribute to written reports and design documentation

 Application of engineering process and safe systems of work

 Assist with team administration

Qualifications and skills

 Undertaking or enrolled on an Electronic Engineering degree or similar

 Good A-Levels in STEM subjects

Successful candidate would be expected to be involved in one or more of the following areas (+ general activities). Candidates are notexpected to be experienced in all these areas but must have an interest in developing these skills.

 

Year in Industry / Placement intake planned for September 2020.

 

The successful candidate must be able to achieve full SC (Security Clearance).
