As part of being a large provider of software and digital services to the UK public sector, the company  is an established supplier of electoral software to local authorities in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

We believe the public sector should be provided with high quality software and services and we have a vision to enhance our software such that it is the most usable, efficient and innovative on the market. We are looking for a placement student to work within the 19-strong Engineering Team to help us create unique solutions which will help us to deliver on this vision. 

You will have the opportunity to work with the developers in the Development Team, and the quality assurance engineers in the QA Team, carrying out solo and collaborative analytical work, and gaining an understanding of other departments of the elections business.

Whether your aim is to study engineering, physics, chemistry, maths or computing, this placement will give you an exceptional grounding in IT, business and management, essential for whatever career you ultimately choose.  Software engineering experience is desirable but not required: we will train you with all you need to begin taking on responsibility within weeks.

The role will be mentored by more senior developers and testers and you will be given as much responsibility as you can take on.  If you have drive and ambition then there is opportunity for fast career

We are looking for bright and committed Year-in-Industry students on a gap year with:
