MAIN PLACEMENT PURPOSE:

 

Undertaking project work relating to advanced materials, and their production in a low carbon circular economy, supported by digital technologies.

 

 

 

Role profile:

 

Under the supervision of project managers, and senior researchers, undertaking tasks on one or more projects for commercial clients or grant funding bodies to address challenges relating to advanced materials, and their production in a low carbon circular economy, supported by digital technologies.

 

The specific projects will depend both on the skills and aptitudes of the successful candidate and the Institute

 

Essential skills:

 

Scientific or engineering background; practical laboratory skills; IT literate; well-presented; good communication skills; team-worker

 

Desirable skills:

 

Commercial awareness; project management

 

Student type:

 

Discipline/degree: Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical), Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics
