The placement is open to undergraduates with a start date of August 2020 for 1 full year. You will be based in London with one of the world’s largest utilities and the leading wind energy producers. Their global offshore wind business is managed from Glasgow and you may have the opportunity to travel there. The company is responsible for progressing onshore wind and marine energy projects in the UK and offshore windfarms throughout the world, managing the development, construction and operation of all projects.
To provide support to the Financial Accounting Team. Month-end reporting responsibilities, funding request support for joint venture partners, intercompany billing for resources and daily project functions support.
Activities and Responsibilities
Assisting the Financial Accounting Team by preparing and assisting in the reporting of the financial performance of our East Anglia development projects, prepare monthly balance sheet analytical reviews, managing funding controls, and supporting the project functions with Control queries. Support the preparation of cash flow forecasting, assist in carrying out monthly GRN reviews to ensure ledger integrity and contribute to the preparation and delivery of monthly project finance meetings.
