Discipline: Recruitment, provide support to the trainee teams managing the intake of candidates both internally and externally

The company is one of the UK leading Energy Network that operates across the UK providing the distribution of energy management systems to supply gas and electricity to its customers

 

You will be required to support the Recruitment and trainee teams managing the intake of candidates both internally and externally and assisting with the planning and introduction of the 2025 graduate and apprentice intake.

 

Discipline

Pre-university,  undergraduate, graduates or planning to study/currently studying for a degree related to Business, Marketing or HR related course.

 

Activities and Responsibilities

 

  • Work as part of the team to deliver support across the function
  • Work on research projects and market insights
  • Speak with potential candidates and hiring managers to discuss their expectations
  • Support the team with interview scheduling and direct candidate sourcing
  • Work with the trainee recruitment team to plan the Assessment centres and prepare adverts for the external market
  • Liaise with external suppliers and partners in a collaborative fashion
  • Assisting the team in planning and scheduling our assessment days
  • Support the team on assessment centres
  • Responsible for organising own time to provide support to Recruitment Consultants for organising and/or attendance at job/career events
  • Provide updates to the Recruitment Consultants/Recruitment Manager on progression of vacancy management
  • Some travel may be required for the role
  • Promoting opportunities supporting the management of the Careers portal, SP social media platforms and support at job fairs/career events, ensuring an excellent candidate experience

 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

  • MS Office - In particular Teams, Excel & Powerpoint

Interpersonal Skills

  • MS Office, including Teams and Sharepoint
  • Analytical skills e.g. spreadsheets
  • Good standard of written English
