The company is one of the UK leading Energy Network that operates across the UK providing the distribution of energy management systems to supply gas and electricity to its customers.

Employee Relations & Engagement are part of the People & Organisation Strategic team they work with a range of stakeholders and across different areas of the company business.

 

They range of projects they work on vary from developing People policies, Diversity & Inclusion, Employee Listening, Employee Forums, Employee Led networks and Trade Unions engagement to help improve employee relations and their work experience with the company.

 

Discipline

Pre-university,  undergraduate, graduats or planning to study/currently studying for a degree related to Business, HR or Data Analysis/Research.

 

Activities and Responsibilities

In this role you will work in a small team but also take part in a much bigger role working on projects, policy strategy making a contribute to a range of tasks liaising internationally with other teams. One of the systems used to help customers include Agile Project Methodology.

 

Key Tasks

The candidate will:

  • Assist the Head of Employee Relations deliver Employee Relations & Engagement projects
  • Complete Research and external benchmarking
  • Assist the delivery of Employees’ Listening feedback & Experience across departments through surveys and focus groups.
  • Support the Policy & D&I Lead, benchmark people policies and providing support to Diversity & Inclusion projects.
  • Write reports, presentations, and detail outputs from Employee Engagement & Experience
  • Any other duties as agreed with the Head of Employee Relations & Engagement

 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

  • MS Office - In particular Teams, Excel & Powerpoint

Interpersonal Skills

  • MS Office
  • Analytical skills e.g. spreadsheets
  • Good standard of written English
