Rewarding the company employees’ hard work is a process managed by the People Strategy Team with a focus on all elements of Compensation and Benefits in a diverse workforce with 6000 UK employees. They work on a range of strategic people’s projects as well as Business as Usual (BAU) activity helping to support the company’s business operation.

 

In this role you will be a key member of the team helping colleagues on a variety of projects with a focus on Rewards and Benefits therefore it would be beneficial if you enjoy working with data analysis, Microsoft Office 365, including Excel and Power Point. Power BI knowledge would also be an additional benefit to the role.

 

 

Discipline

Undergraduate, graduates or currently studying for a degree in HR/Business or graduate in HR/business degree.

 

Activities and Responsibilities

  • Supporting team to deliver key reward & benefit cycles and providing advice and guidance on reward/benefit policy and practices.
  • Supporting team members on Business as Usual and project activity.
  • Support on identification and implementation of process efficiencies.
  • Build knowledge, skills and expertise across the function/business by joining, creating and leveraging networks.
  • Support and participate in the job slotting process.
  • Respond to employee reward/benefit related queries and provide appropriate advice in a timely manner.
  • Assist with internal, external and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Provide analysis and reporting to the team or business groups when relevant.

 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

 

  • Experience in MS Office 365 applications – e.g. Teams, Outlook & Powerpoint with a high level of capability on Excel
  • A detail-orientated focus with strong data management and analysis skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Awareness or experience of business practices

 

Interpersonal Skills

 

  • Self motivated and confident in working on own initiative
  • Good organisational skills – ability to plan own workload, and be proactive when assigned tasks.
  • Team Player with good communication / collaboration skills
  • Active listener and proactive problem solver
  • Willingness to learn & driven to get the job done
