The company is seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and data driven student to support their Offshore Renewables business. The placement is open to undergraduates and graduates.

 

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

They are looking for a student in the following areas of study: computer science, data science, data analytics or equivalent or any engineering discipline with a strong focus and interest in data analysis. The Offshore Quality team play a key role in the Offshore business and serve as an interface and help to build solid relationships between business and projects by understanding and meeting the related needs. They provide the business and projects with expertise and guidance, as well as training and familiarisation on quality and document control matters in a variety of areas.

 

The team have a high volume of data and are looking for someone to assist with data capture/management and analysis, as well as automation of these actions to ensure efficiency in the team and projects. You’ll not only work with the data but communicate the findings within teams and to the wider business. Some tasks you’ll be involved in include:

  • Data Cleaning and Preparation – gathering relevant data from different sources and ensuring it’s in a useable format.
  • Data Analysis and Exploration – identifying trends and patterns in the data.
  • Creating Data Visuals – charts, graphs, dashboards etc.

  • Previous use of data visualisation software i.e., PowerBI

 

Language skills – Spanish, French, German – a bonus but not required.
