The company is seeking a bright enthusiastic student to support their Offshore Renewables business on consent compliance, land, and local stakeholder activities. The placement is open to undergraduates and graduates.

 

Description of The Role:

They are looking for a student in any of the following areas of study: onshore or offshore development consenting, land surveying, environmental engineering, or stakeholder engagement. The student should have an interest in the consenting, construction, and operation of major infrastructure projects in the UK and supporting the company to deliver these projects in compliance with all development consents, land agreements, and with strong local stakeholder management. The role will be part of the team providing this support to their Renewables Offshore Windfarm projects in East Anglia.

 

Experience:

Ideally, the person would have had a part-time job previously to demonstrate business practices and awareness.

  • Intended degree discipline/ subjects or potential career path
  • Key skills, knowledge & competencies required
  • Driving licence or own transport required
  • Offers subject to background checks etc.
  • Evidence of Development Consenting/ Land Surveying/ Local Stakeholder knowledge
  • Evidence of knowledge and interest in Offshore Wind
  • MS Office skills including Excel
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent standard of written English
  • Good communicator
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Team player
