COMPANY BACKGROUND:

A global manufacturer and supplier of a range of semiconductors. At our site in Oldham, we have a Wafer Fab as well as offices which house departments such as Quality, Design, Sales, etc.

 

MAIN PLACEMENT PURPOSE

To provide internal sales support to the European Sales team

 

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

  • Sample processing for European customers
  • Review of design registrations/opportunities in Model N and review with distribution and External Sales if these opportunities are real.
  • Identification of European POS in other regions and tie-back to EU Opportunities
  • Aliasing / parenting the European customer base within Model N and accurately inputting the customer market sector information. This ensures our customers are aligned with their parent company and market sector and thus, providing management, at various levels, with more details and more accurate data.
  • Using emails sent in to the company, to provide sales with new leads / general inquiries / return requested datasheets etc to customers / forward technical inquiries on to relevant personnel.
  • Provide data to personnel with various projects (~weekly). e.g. Visio software / SWOT analysis / vertical markets data / Excel data collection, all to support sales and distribution team
