Start Date – Summer 2021 for 12 months
Salary - £17K
Location - Oxford
Disciplines – Computer Science/Science with a technology bias
We are a small technology company which has developed a (Raspberry Pi based) 3D scanner that is selling well for dentistry in America. We would like to apply our “toolkit of 3D know how” to other industries such as jewellery scanning and make handheld devices for industrial metrology or consumer use.
The devices are designed and manufactured in Oxford. We require fresh talent to work with the designer of the original system to prototype and perfect our next generation of scanners. It’s a fantastic opportunity to take centre stage on an interesting technology project.
Help is required to develop a range of 3D scanning technologies.
The candidate we are looking for will be able to understand how the existing system works, and have the determination to make it better, and apply it to new systems. The ideal candidate would have high grades in maths and sciences, know how to program a computer, and have a scientific mind.
