The company is part of an international energy company seeking a student in their networks division, open to both pre-university and undergraduates.

 

Key Accountabilities

You will be required to support the team in Engineering, Design and Standards, to deliver safe, quality, innovative, cost effective network solutions, to meet today’s sustainability and environmental challenges, to help the business deliver a low carbon net zero future. 

 

Activities and Responsibilities

  • Update technical specifications.
  • Assist with tenders.
  • Approve OH lines materials, Cables and Substation Plant. 
  • Gain an understanding of Distribution and Transmission assets. 
  • Raise SAP material codes.
  • Track Departmental Progress (Scorecard)

 

Qualifications

Good Highers/Advanced Highers or equivalent relevant to an engineering degree. Good Maths and Physics, open to an undergraduate that is degree related.

 

Experience

Ideally, the person would have had a part-time job previously to demonstrate business practices and awareness

MS Office- In particular Teams and Excel
