Enginuity Partnership Announcement

After the huge success of our National Industrial Cadets Platinum Awards event last year, we are pleased to announce our new partnership with industry charity, Enginuity and their prestigious annual Skills Awards event.

Taking place in London on 29th June 2023, the Enginuity Skills Awards will feature for the first time a dedicated Industrial Cadets Platinum category alongside ten other Enginuity Skills Awards.

Over 200 students that graduated at Industrial Cadets Platinum and Platinum Leader level this year have been invited to enter the national award category, nominations will close on Friday 10th February 2023. The selected finalists will present to a panel of judges from industry on the afternoon of 29th June with the winner announced during Enginuity’s Skills Awards evening ceremony.

EDT’s CEO, Julie Feest says: "We are so thrilled to be partnering up with Enginuity’s highly regarded Skills Awards. This provides a fantastic opportunity for our finalists to have the chance to network with thousands of Industry professionals at an integral time during their journey to employment. To see the National Industrial Cadets Platinum Award winner, on the same prestigious platform alongside winners of other categories including ‘Apprentice of the Year’ and Engineering Visionary’ is so exciting. We are so grateful to Enginuity UK for helping us raise the profile of Industrial Cadets and celebrate the achievements of our students."

Ann Watson, CEO of Enginuity says: “Through our partnership with the EDT, we hope to inspire future generations to pursue the opportunities across engineering and manufacturing.

The Enginuity Skills Awards are a great way to show the EDT’s Industrial Cadets a fantastic example of what can be achieved through commitment to skills development, while working with the EDT on this event enables us to start important conversations and forge relationships early.”
