Our Joint Engineering Education Scheme (EES) Celebration and Assessment day and Year in Industry (YINI), Contribution to the Business Awards, was held at Bath University on the 27th June. It was a successful day and attended by several schools and businesses. EDT CEO, Julie Feest ran a networking session for the companies attending, which was well received!
There were joint winners of the Year in Industry, Contribution to the Business Award of Sam Spears of Schneider Electric, Plymouth and Kharesa-Kesa Spencer of EDF Energy.
There were three EES Awards awarded to the following teams:-
Best Idea sponsored by Rolls-Royce won by Bristol Cathedral Choir School partnered with Infineon Technologies, working on a project titled Mircrocontroller Bring Up Guide.
Contribution to the Business Award, sponsored by Leonardo won by Writhlington School partnered with Wessex Water, working on a project titled Reducing Dissolved Oxygen to Reduce Methanol Consumption.
Overall Winner of the EES trophy won by Hardenhuish School partnered with M+W Group, working on a project titled Healthy & Sustainable Housing for the Displaced.
