We believe that social inequality should not prevent a young person from reaching their full potential.
We want all young people to have the right to fulfil their potential & we want to provide part or full funded bursaries to students who come from a disadvantaged background or an under-represented group to ensure we give access to all. This includes students who are 1st in Family to go into HE; & those in receipt of free school meals as Department for Education research dictates both cohorts are less likely to go to university.
However, as a charitable trust we do have limited funds and as some schools are able to offer financial help for educational courses such as ours, we’d like you to please ask them first if they’d be willing to support you.
We may be able to offer assistance for fees to students who meet the following criteria:
- Students eligible for free school meals now or within the last 6 years
- Students who are or who have been in local authority care
- Students who are carers for family members
- If your family is receiving Working Tax Credit or Universal Credit, and you can evidence it.
If you would like us to consider you for funding towards your course fees due to the above reasons or other circumstances then please complete an application form and tell us that you are applying for a funded place.
