The company design and manufacture gas sensing equipment for niche applications, meaning that they must constantly evaluate and prototype products for a wide variety of applications. Over 60% of their products, typically embedded systems, are exported into a number of niche markets worldwide including military, commercial and sport diving, hospitality and safety. The placement is open to both undergraduates and school leavers with good research and laboratory skills. Candidates should ideally be planning/currently studying for a degree that is physics/chemistry based or materials engineering. This is a 1-year placement starting around August 2019 and due to the location, the company would recommend that applicants have a driving licence/transport.
