You will take up a placement in the normal way, and then, having earned some money, travel to various world destinations, experiencing a different culture and having a great time before university in the autumn.
Some of the travel providers offer discounts to our students, so well worth investigating if you want to spread your wings before your degree course starts.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does it work?
If you are interested in a Yini Combo, you should register for Yini in the normal way on the website, and at interview mention you are interested in this option. You will then be provided with a Combo information pack as part of the registration process.
When will students make contact with the travel organisations?
Students will choose their travel option with the travel provider and agree a time frame with them. It is recommended that this is done earlier to allow saving from the Yini placement to help pay for the travel option.
What happens if Yini don’t find a placement for a student?
The student will still be able to approach the travel organization as if they were being placed.
