Bion Takes Home Partnership Award at the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards
Last night, one of our long-term valued supporters, Robert Bion & Co, took away the regional award in the ‘Partnership’ category at the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards 2017. The Awards are all about celebrating success, rewarding change, building partnerships, progressing ideas, developing good practice and investing in people. The ‘Partnership’ Award was awarded to the company who has done the most to promote engineering and manufacturing careers through activities within the community and in partnership with education providers. Bion has been a huge supporter of EDT since 2008 - They were a sponsor of the 2017 Year in Industry (YINI) Year Book, as well as a sponsor of the YINI Audience Choice Awards at the South East Contribution to the Business Awards (CTTB) earlier this year. In addition, they have been supporting us with various STEM events and promotions of the YINI scheme.

A huge congratulations to Bion! Without the support of companies such as Bion, young people would not have the opportunity to enter the workplace to experience a real life working environment. We look forward to continue working with them to help develop the skills and experience young people need to achieve their goals.
