  Two Universities are running a First Edition event where pupils from a number of schools will be working in groups to design and build a low cost emergency solar oven.

• First Edition all girls event in Engineering

  First Edition held an all girls event on 17th January at Glaziers Hall in London, in partnership with Bloodhound and Women in Science, Engineering and Technology.

• First Edition Partners with the Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers

  Encouraging more girls into engineering is a key target group for First Edition as there are a limited number of girls that take up careers in this area.

• First Edition Fair in Birmingham

  Two combined Open Industry and First Edition events are taking place at Aston University in the format of a careers fair.
