Are you curious about how equipment can educate us about our own bodies, from spotting abnormalities to treating conditions and improving quality of life.  The fastest-growing engineering discipline of the twenty-first century, medical engineering requires professionals with a thorough grounding in engineering and technology, and an understanding and empathy for key clinical concepts.

 

What’s it all about?

The course aims, through lectures, simulations and hands-on activities, to allow you to discover what engineering for health is all about and to find out what a rewarding career it offers.

 

What will I be doing?

  • Visit a local company or industrial research laboratory
  • Explore an up-to-the-minute research topic and then give a presentation on it
  • Meet staff and former students to get inside information and find out about their experiences
  • Taste student life at Surrey - both at work and leisure

 

Would this course suit me?

 

If you are interested in engineering for health then this course if for you.  You need to be studying Maths at A Level or equivalent.
